Award For Robert Mitchell
 
Robert Mitchell picked up the first jazz award of the year when the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards returned to Cargo for its annual celebration of the best music championed by Gilles Peterson on his Worldwide and Radio 1 show in January. The award for best jazz album award went to the Robert Mitchell 3io for their CD album, The Greater Good released as part of the Jazz Services Recording Support Scheme with support from 33 jazz records. The trio, featuring Richard Spaven on drums and Tom Mason on bass, performed alongside other nominees Finn Peters and Alice Russell.
